Connecting your store to the Klarna Creator Platform

This article covers the necessary steps for installing the Klarna Creator tracking script to your website to evalute traffic on links, mediums, products and sources in real time.

1. Install the tracking on your website

Important to note when you have installed the tracking, is if you are to make any changes to your website (either updating domains, or updating code on the current domain) it's important you remember to move over/ensure the tracking is still active on your site - so we don't loose out on tracking sales.


​2. Verify the tracking installation

Once tracking has been installed you can reach out to your contact and we will come back with a test-link you shall use to place a order to verify the full flow is working as expected end-to-end.


When you have received the link, you shall follow the steps below to place your order and send us the relevant information.

TEST ORDER GUIDE:
1. Surf to the URL provided to you by our tech support

2. Add any item to your cart (if possible, make sure that the total amount is > 1000 SEK)

3. Fill in the necessary details to place your order
OBS THE FOLLOWING STEPS NEED TO BE CARRIED OUT BEFORE YOU TRIGGER YOUR ORDER

4. Right-click anywhere on the webpage and choose Inspect you are now in the inspect-view of your browser.

5. Click the Network tab

KEEP THE NETWORK TAB OPEN WHILE YOU CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING STEPS

6. Trigger your order and wait until you see the order conrmation page

7. In the network tab, click the Filter eld and type in apprl

8. Check if you see a script called apprl.js
(If this does not show up, let us know in your email response)

9. Click the Filter field again and type in ?store

10. Check if you see a script called ?store_domain=

(There might be multiple showing up)

11. Double click the first ?store_domain= script you see and click on the Header tab

12. Please take a screenshot of the entire screen and send it to us in your email response. Also make sure to send us:

  • Order ID

  • Order Value

Done! We will verify the info and get back to you!


3. Get dashboard access

Once the tracking is installed and have been verified with a test-order, we will prepare your account and give you access to the platform.
